I had wrote an entire post assassinating people for their poor diet and some of the BS reasons given to justify eating poorly. I was in the process of publishing this article and something hit me and I realized that wasn’t the proper manner to try to reach people about this.
Please don’t get it twisted or confused because I am still highly passionate about eating a healthy diet. I just don’t want to hammer anyone because the reality is that you’re not going to reach everyone. No matter how much you try, some people will always have that “I am go to die anyway” or “If I’m going to die, then I’m going to die happy” mentality. I would like to thank these Sherlocks for pointing out the obvious fact that we are going to die. However, it doesn’t mean that we are going to die tomorrow. Who in the hell wants to live 30 or 40 years hooked up to machines or taking 20 different medications? This thing is about quality of life and having a body that can repair itself when adversity hits it.
I understand that many different factors, such as pollution, heavy metal toxicity, parasites, and other things impact our health. Some of these things are beyond our control, but one thing that we can certainly control is our diet. Heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers are linked to autoimmune complications. This should give us even more reason to improve the way that we eat.
The best medicine that we can take is our food. It’s a beautiful thing to see this vegan movement, and the many bloggers that are promoting a vegan diet to improve their autoimmune disease.
