I had planned on doing another post until I saw some stories on a recent news feed. Before I get started, please don’t confuse me with Alex Jones. I am not some freaking conspiracy theorist. However, there are events that occur that should make any and everyone ask questions and do some research.
It’s been reported that we have a new mumps outbreak in the United States. These outbreaks seem to be happening more often with the duration period of each outbreak increasing.
What are the Mumps?
The mumps are referred to as a very contagious viral infection that affects the salivary and partoid glands. Symptoms include: swollen and painful salivary glands, headache, fever, fatigue and appetite loss. In older patients the symptoms could be worse including swelling in the testicles and permanent blindness. It spreads very easily via respiratory droplets, saliva, and touching contaminated surfaces. Due to the contagious nature of the mumps, it’s easily spread throughout congested crowds. Generally patients recover in a couple of weeks with the focus of treatment being on the symptoms.
From a Hispanic dance festival in Delaware, to a cheerleading competition in Texas, to the college campus of James Madison University, we are now experiencing another outbreak of the mumps. There has been an increase of mumps breakouts since 2006 but, these numbers have increased over the past several years. According to the CDC, there were over 150 outbreaks reported with over 9,000 mumps cases from January 2016 to June 2017. 2017 saw the most mumps cases reported in over a decade with 6,000. The states of Washington and Hawaii have had significant mumps outbreaks. According to the Hawaii State Dept. of Health, there have been over 929 cases of the mumps in the past calendar year. Washington government officials have reported over 701 cases of the mumps in the same length of time.
Young Adults and the Mumps
Half of the reported mumps outbreaks are occuring at universities. There are reasons for this, but the head scratching part is that over 90% of the infected individuals had the CDC recommended double dose of the MMR vaccine. Even with the recent outbreaks, the CDC still stands firm that the best prevention for the mumps is vaccination.
Here is the part were crap hits the fan for me. By the way, vaccine zealots can miss me on the BS because I am not giving a pro or con analysis on vaccines. Just simply presenting some contradictions that are out there and the lack of transparency from the physicians that we put our trust in. According to sources such as Harvard researchers, a journal known as “The Science Translational Medicine”, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, college health officials, and etc., the recommended resolution for the outbreak is a third MMR shot. All of these sources are reporting that the two MMR vaccines that we receive at 12 to 15 months of age and the second at 4 to 6 years of age wanes with time.
Questions About MMR Vaccine
My issue is not with the freaking mumps. My issue comes with this push for additional vaccines. Nothing is ever 100% perfected however, the dual dose of the MMR vaccine has an almost 90% success rate. I could understand if the majority of the infected were individuals not vaccinated and they were passing it to the vaccinated. However, the great majority of the people affected have been vaccinated, and then your response is to get more vaccinations. That doesn’t make any damn sense to me. Ask the parents of children whom have developed autistic tendencies after the MMR vaccine if additional vaccinations sounds good.
Doctors have no clue about the ingredients that are in vaccinations, there impact on the immune system, central nervous system, or the health of our gut microbiome. In an article published on http://www.thevaccinereaction.org, an interview was done with a MD board certified pediatrician named Larry Palevsky. Here is his testimony on vaccination training: “When I went through medical school, I was taught that vaccines were completely safe and completely effective, and I had no reason to believe otherwise. All the information that I was taught was pretty standard in all the medical schools and the teachings and scientific literature throughout the country. I had no reason to disbelieve it.
Over the years, I kept practicing medicine and using vaccines and thinking that my approach to vaccines was completely onboard with everything else I was taught. But more and more, I kept seeing that my experience of the world, my experience in using and reading about vaccines, and hearing what parents were saying about vaccines were very different from what I was taught in medical school and my residency training.
… and it became clearer to me as I read the research, listened to more and more parents, and found other practitioners who also shared the same concern that vaccines had not been completely proven safe or even completely effective, based on the literature that we have today.
… It didn’t appear that the scientific studies that we were given were actually appropriately designed to prove and test the safety and efficacy.
It also came to my attention that there were ingredients in there that were not properly tested, that the comparison groups were not appropriately set up, and that conclusions made about vaccine safety and efficacy just did not fit the scientific standards that I was trained to uphold in my medical school training. All the information that I was taught was pretty standard in all the medical schools and the teachings and scientific literature throughout the country.”
Dr. Palevsky attended medical school at NYU which is ranked the 14th top medical school in the nation. So please don’t be blinded by the plaques on the wall in your doctor’s office. In the same article Dr. Suzanne Humphries whom received her MD from the Temple School of Medicine gives her take: “Do you know how much doctors learn about vaccines in medical school? When we participate in pediatrics training, we learn that vaccines need to be given on schedule. We learn that smallpox and polio were eliminated by vaccines. We learn that there’s no need to know how to treat diphtheria, because we won’t see it again anyway. We are indoctrinated with the mantra that ‘vaccines are safe and effective’—neither of which is true.
Doctors today are given extensive training on how to talk to ‘hesitant’ parents—how to frighten them by vastly inflating the risks during natural infection. They are trained on the necessity of twisting parents’ arms to conform, or fire them from their practices. Doctors are trained that nothing bad should be said about any vaccine, period.”
There are so many different accounts given by physicians saying the same thing. Getting vaccine facts from doctors is the equivalent of receiving constitutional law information from the neighborhood dog catcher. Let’s be honest, how often have we taken our children to the pediatrician and been given upfront information about vaccines? But they will quickly dismiss your child if you refuse vaccinations. Want to hear some hypocritical BS? The Open Journal of Pediatrics reports that 21% of pediatricians either, don’t get their children vaccinated, or don’t follow CDC guidelines on vaccines.
I’m not saying that vaccines are all bad, but I’m sure as hell not saying they are all good. Dr. William Thompson a senior scientist for the CDC reported to his attorneys and Congressman Bobby Kennedy Jr. that he and fellow colleagues destroyed evidence in 2004 that showed an increased likelihood of African American males developing autism as a result of the MMR vaccine. As a father of two black sons, you can kiss my ass in thinking that you can guilt trip me into believing that adding more vaccines is a good thing. Ask the family of Henrietta Lacks if I as a black man should trust medical professionals.
Why is there a push for further vaccines? Vaccines have been reportedly linked to autism, cancer, allergies, autoimmune diseases, respiratory issues, and much more. Knowing this information, who would want to increase vaccinations and why? Shouldn’t more research and testing be done? Are the mumps outbreaks a governmental controlled situation to force a certain agenda? And who’s to say that this deadly flu virus, zika, ebola, and other outbreaks are not all government operations? Why not make it a priority to give the masses full transparency on the pros and cons of vaccines?
I just feel these are questions that should be addressed. Gone are the days of the masses being asses. This is the age of information and the people are awakening everyday.
